SALISBURY - The National Weather Service has issued a Tornado Watch for the area until 2 Thursday morning.
A watch means that conditions are favorable for the formation of a tornado.
"We're not through with this yet," those are the words of WBTV Meteorologist Al Conklin.
Severe storms ripped through the area Tuesday night causing damage in several counties, but skirting the area of Rowan and Cabarrus without causing any damage.
Storms with heavy rain also moved through the area Wednesday night.
