CHARLOTTE - First Alert meteorologist Al Conklin says a weak system crosses the area tomorrow, should not be more than a few light showers and sprinkles around, otherwise it looks dry most of this week.
It may be difficult to see tonight’s lunar eclipse, for the clouds moving in.

Beyond tomorrow, we should have dry, mild conditions for Wednesday & Thursday….even getting back to near “normal” Wednesday afternoon with highs in the 50s.
Looking toward the Christmas weekend, the models are in different camps regarding a system projected to move across the south, some bring rain, some bring the chance for some snow here.
It is possible that there could be some snow in the area Friday-Saturday, but history is not on the side of those dreaming of a white Christmas. The last one in Charlotte was 1947 when about 5-6 inches fell.
Today: Sunshine and a few afternoon high clouds, chilly with a high of 46.
Tonight: Patchy clouds and cold, low 27.
Tomorrow: Mostly cloudy and chilly, a few sprinkles can’t be ruled out, but it does not appear to be an overly wet day, high 48.
Wednesday: Mostly sunny with a milder afternoon, high 54.
