SALISBURY - A woman's attempt to show identification to a police officer landed her in jail on charges of using counterfeit money.
On Friday Salisbury Police were investigating complaints made by Pizza Hut and Domino's about phony money.
Officers responded to 320 Dove Meadow Lane where pizzas had been delivered, then paid for it with the bogus bucks.
The officer asked the resident, Rashedia Woodberry, if she could produce any identification. According to the report, she reached into her pocket to take out a traffic citation since it did have her name on it.
As she pulled it out, she also pulled out at least one $20 bill that the officer recognized as counterfeit.
According to the report, Woodberry then told the officer: "take me to jail."
He did, and her bond is set at $5000, charged with 2 counts of obtaining property by false pretenses.
