SALISBURY - Earlier this week the Rowan County Sheriff issued a plea for help in finding an accused rapist who was considered to be "unstable and dangerous."
As of Wednesday morning, that man was in jail under bond of $150,000.
Deputies said that after a thorough investigation, warrants were obtained on William Everett Blevins II, for Second Degree Forcible Rape and Second Degree Forcible Sex Offense.
Blevins is also wanted by the US Marshals for federal probation violation, and was just released from Federal Prison in the summer of 2012.
Blevins is believed to be unstable and dangerous and had access to firearms. His last known location was with his girlfriend, Amanda Rowland Hathcock, on Hardy Road in Norwood in Stanly County.
Blevins was located early Wednesday morning and booked into the Rowan County Detention Center just after 6 am.
