Senior center celebrates 25th Anniversary

 

The Rufty-Holmes Senior Center is offering its first in the series of special presentations highlighting the Center's 25th Anniversary.

Catawba College Professor Emeritus Dr. James Parker is guest speaker for the first program.

Dr. Parker is delivering a monologue drawing characters from Shakespeare's plays to illustrate the progression of man from birth to older age.

A reception follows the 45-minute presentation.

Those wishing to attend should be at the Rufty-Holmes Senior Center, located at 1120 South Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue in Salisbury, Monday January 14, at 7 p.m.

Admission is free and the the program is open to the public.
