Two longtime local executives have launched an advertising, public relations and video production company in Salisbury, NC.
Patrick Pearson, a public relations and advertising agency veteran and Matthew DeBoer, former president of a commercial baking company and national account manager for a Fortune 500 company, have teamed to form Pearson DeBoer Creative Solutions (PDCS).
The company recently moved into its offices at 118 E. Council Street, Suite 3.
PDCS offers complete marketing and advertising solutions, including strategic marketing, public relations and full high-definition video production. The company aims to be a creative partner that provides clients of all sizes access to professional and creative marketing services.
Pearson and DeBoer, who have worked together in the past, have decades of marketing experience between them.
“I was a client of Pat’s several years ago and after working on multiple projects together we quickly realized that we shared certain beliefs when it comes to sales and marketing,” says DeBoer.
Jonathan Weaver also has joined PDCS as Creative Director and Video Producer. Weaver spent the last several years in creative services as a copywriter and video producer. Over the course of his career, Weaver has created countless video projects for clients big and small and has seen firsthand the impact video can have on a business.
“These days video is the most efficient way to tell the story of a business or product,” Weaver says. “And with the multiple outlets for video, it has become a very cost-effective marketing tool. A single video shoot can yield a variety of finished products that can be used in many different ways.”
The agency is off to a quick start, working with Aberdeen Carolina & Western Railroad, AssistMeLive.com, Central Carolina Insurance, Compliance Management Solutions, Gerry Wood Auto Group, The Holiday Caravan Parade and Our State Magazine.
“We started Pearson DeBoer after repeatedly hearing from area companies that they wanted something different,” Pearson says. “They want an affordable and creative partner who is beside them in their pursuit of new customers.”
One area where PDCS stands apart is its unique blending of experience, says DeBoer. “We have experience on both sides of the table,” he says. “We know how important marketing is, but we also realize that creativity is only part of it. Customers need to be compelled to act.”
One way PDCS says it can accomplish this is by offering sales support services in which the company will represent clients by developing sales presentations and participating in important sales calls.
PDCS has a talented group of designers, often matching a client with a designer based on the client’s needs. That not only provides a customized approach to each project, but also helps keep the budget in check.
