Police looking for man who punched officer in the face | Crime

SALISBURY - The Salisbury Police are looking for a man accused of punching an officer in the face at a night club.

Warrants been issued for Robin Otto Worth, Jr., age 28, of 2170 Grubb Ferry Rd. in Salisbury.

Sunday morning around 2:15 at Club Exclusive, 612 S. Main St. patrons were leaving after the bar was closed.  A police officer who was working off duty at the club was in the parking lot as the crowd was leaving.

Worth ran up behind the officer and came around and hit him in the chin and then ran away. The officer had  to get stitches but should be okay. 

Worth has outstanding charges for Assaulting a Police Officer and Resisting  an Officer.
