SALISBURY -  From the Rowan Sheriff's Office: The Rowan County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigation Unit completed an ongoing investigation into illegal drug sell at 107 West Pinetree Drive, East Spencer.

Over the course of the last month undercover detectives were able to make undercover purchases of crack cocaine from the occupants of the home at the W. Pinetree Drive address.

On Tuesday detectives with SIU with the assistance of the Sheriff’s Special Response Team executed a search warrant at the home.

During the search detectives seized a small quantity of crack cocaine and marijuana. Detectives also seized several bags of prescription pain pills that were packaged for sale.

In May 2011 Sheriff SRT and SIU executed three search warrants at this residence and two other residences on this Street that resulted in several arrests. In the 2011 raids the brother of this suspect was arrested for selling crack cocaine.
