The Rowan County Sheriff's Office said Friday it had discovered an indoor marijuana-growing operation worth more than $21,000.
Deputies took a search warrant to a home on Saw Road in China Grove Wednesday. They said they found two marijuana grow rooms inside the house, with a total of 35 plants. Deputies found two more plants outside the home.
Investigators weighed all of the seized plants and discovered it was six pounds, with a street value of about $21,000.
Jeffrey Hamilton Kincaid lives at the home where the grow operation was discovered. Deputies said he turned himself in on Friday and was released on bond. He is facing several charges related to the marijuana-grow operation.
