Deputies seek runaway from Nazareth Home; say she's endangered | News

SALISBURY - The Rowan County Sheriff's Office is asking for help to try and find a teenager who ran away from the Nazareth Children's Home.

Deputies say Tiara Toney, 17, ran away on June 22.

Investigators say Toney left on foot about 3 p.m. on the afternoon of the 22nd.  She was last seen wearing blue sweat pants and an orange shirt and was carrying a blue suitcase.

Deputies said she is believed to be in the Charlotte area.

A relative told deputies they thought they recognized her walking along Sharon Amity Road on Wednesday.

Detectives have entered her into the national database for missing persons.
