Bad wreck blocked Jake Alexander Blvd. Friday morning | News
SALISBURY - Jake Alexander Boulevard was blocked between Harrison Road and Brenner Avenue Friday morning for more than an hour after a car collided with a tractor-trailer.
The accident happened around 6:30.
A Salisbury Police officer at the scene said that a car had run up under the back of a big rig. Emergency crews responded and had to cut parts from the car in order to free the driver.
The driver was taken to the hospital but the extent of the injuries is not known.
The road was blocked until approximately 7:45 am.
