SALISBURY - Statesville Boulevard in Salisbury was shut down for part of the late morning on Thursday after a fiery crash involving two vehicles.

According to Salisbury Police, a woman driving a white Toyota was traveling west on Statesville Boulevard when the driver of an SUV pulled out from Robin Road into the path of the Toyota.

Both vehicles caught on fire briefly after the crash.  The woman in the Toyota was taken to the hospital.  Police say they didn't believe the woman's injuries were life threatening.
