CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV)- A frosty morning could be coming to the Charlotte region Thursday.
The National Weather Service in Greenville-Spartanburg issued a Frost Advisory from midnight tonight until 9 a.m. Thursday morning for most of the WBTV viewing area.
WBTV Meteorologist Kelly Franson says the cloud cover and windy conditions will move out of the region Wednesday afternoon, leaving clear skies and chilly air behind.
Overnight lows are forecast to be in the low to mid 30s with a high of 59 degrees along with sunny skies on Thursday.
A frost advisory means that frost is possible at ground level and sensitive outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered.
