SALISBURY - Beautiful weather, and a wide variety of trucks, from monster to ice cream, assured a big turn out for the City of Salisbury's annual Touch A Truck Day.
Held in the parking lot of the Salisbury Post and a neighboring bank, sixty trucks and pieces of rolling equipment were on display for children of all ages.
Folks were able to see, and hear, all the trucks had to offer, and even feel the blast from the take off of a medical helicopter. The trucks on display included emergency response vehicles, city owned maintenance vehicles, military equipment, and trucks used by local businesses.
The event has grown each year and is becoming one of the most popular demonstrations on the local schedule.
