Zachary Todd Rumple 21 years old W/M 504 Carter Street, Kannapolis Charge: (F) PWITSD Schedule I (Heroin), (F) Sell and Deliver Schedule I (Heroin), and (F) Maintaining a Dwelling to Keep, Store and Sell Controlled Substance. During Rumple’s arrest, he resisted arrest and assaulted a Deputy and was tased and found in possession of 16 Schedule IV Alprazolam pills which lead to the following additional charges: (F) PWITSD Sch IV Controlled Substance, (M) Resist Delay and Obstruct, (M) Assault on a Government Official, and (M) Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Bond: $20,000 Secured Bond
Christopher Todd Rumple 43 years old W/M 504 Carter Street, Kannapolis Rumple’s father attempted to prevent his son’s arrest and he was also charged with (M) Assault on a Government Official Bond: $500 Secured Bond
Patricia Denise Kluttz 48 year old W/F 1820 Kluttz Road, Salisbury Charge: (F) PWITSD Schedule II (Oxycodone), (F) Sell and Deliver Schedule II (Oxycodone), (F) Maintaining a Dwelling for Sell and Deliver Controlled Substance Bond: $ 2,500
Nicholas Steven Watts 22 year old W/M 660 Gold Knob Road, Salisbury Charge: (F) PWITSD Schedule I (Heroin), (F) Sell and Deliver Schedule I (Heroin), and (F) Conspiracy to Sell and Deliver Schedule I (Heroin) Bond: $10,000 Secured Bond
Michael Wayne Wyrick 18 year old W/M 526 Cedar Glen Cr., Cleveland Charge: (F) PWITSD Schedule III (Hydrocodone), (F) Trafficking in Opium (2 counts) Bond: $ 100,000 Secured Bond
Joshua Christopher Perkins 20 year old W/M 1036 Raven Court, Cleveland Charge: (F) PWITSD Schedule III (Hydrocodone), (F) Trafficking in Opium (2 counts), (F) Maintaining a Dwelling to Keep Store and Sell Controlled Substance Bond: $100,000 Secured Bond
Andrew Hayden Poston 18 year old W/M 104 Barrington Court, Faith Charge: (F) Conspiracy to Sell and Deliver Schedule I (Heroin) Bond: $2,500 Secured Bond
Sheriff’s Investigators have obtained warrants on 21 year old Jonathan Childs for (F) PWITSD Marijuana and (F) Sell and Deliver Marijuana and are still seeking to arrest Child. SALISBURY - The Rowan County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Unit began an undercover campaign involving individuals selling illegal controlled substances.

The campaign involved a detective working in an undercover capacity meeting with suspected drug dealers and making the purchase of various types of controlled substances.

During the course of the campaign, investigators met with the subjects throughout Rowan County which resulted in several arrests
