SPENCER - The N.C. Transportation Museum will have two events Saturday, May 12, hosting an auto show for those who travel on two wheels and providing kids with some Thomas and Friends® themed activities.
The 6th Annual Carolina Classic Motorcycle Show will feature bikes of all makes and models, built between 1900 and 1992. Hosted by the Triad Classic Motorcycle Club, the show is judged in 7 classes, British, American, Japanese, European, Custom, Competition and Retro. There will also be a People’s Choice award.
Event organizers say the bikes do not have to “trailer riding show queens” for entry, encouraging everyone to show their pride and joy. Gates open at 9 a.m., the show begins at 10 a.m. with awards announced at 3 p.m.
Registration is $10 per bike, with a $20 limit if more than two bikes are entered by an individual. Spectators are free, though museum admission applies for exhibits and the train ride.
